The baby wasn't particularly impressed, but my cat is completely obsessed with it. She sits next to it all day watching the little floating things, and if we're not careful, she pounces on it.
I found it cute - my kids love it.
My baby HATES tummy time, and even with this she still does, so we didn't get as much use out of it as we wanted to, unfortunately. It is well-made, it's cute, and my daughter was fascinated by the floating shapes. But even Satan's mistress, the cat, was fascinated by this mat and stole it from us. And I have a feeling that this will turn into a review for a cat toy, because she has rolled on it, patted it, pounced on it, slept on it, and even dragged it through the house to play with it.
Our 3-month-old baby is the calmest baby ever... until tummy time. Then she turns into a rabid werewolf. She screams, howls, and acts like she's being forced to do something terrible. This mat has changed that. At 3 months old, we can now put her on her tummy in 15-20 minute intervals. She stares at the mat, presses on it, and if she spits up on it, the thing is easy to wipe down :) When you first fill it with water, it's a bit tricky because when you push the plug down, water comes out, but once it's closed, it doesn't leak anymore. We've been using it for a week without any problems, and I'm so glad our daughter no longer fights tummy time.
